Ohio Licensed Pediatric Nurse
Job Summary
To provide pediatric care and support, the part-time hourly Ohio Licensed Pediatric Nurse will assess and recommend care based on medical protocols, interact with healthcare providers, and document calls while working remotely for 24 hours a week.
Key responsibilities:
- Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and directs nursing care with a family-centered focus
- Demonstrates knowledge and skills to meet the physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs of pediatric patients
- Collaborates with team members to ensure quality care and exceptional customer service for pediatric patients
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required or must be obtained within 5 years of hire
- Current certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association required
- Valid, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ohio required
- Minimum of three years of applicable pediatric experience required
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software preferred
