Job Summary

To support healthcare solutions, the remote Ohio Licensed Pharmacist Advisor will conduct clinical evaluations of medication therapy, review prior authorization requests, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance pharmacy operations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical evaluations of medication therapy and review prior authorization requests using established guidelines
• Participate in peer-to-peer discussions with medical providers regarding clinical determinations and appropriate medication therapy
• Provide clinical pharmacy consultations and identify prescribing trends for potential interventions

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with relevant specialty experience
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in Ohio
• At least four years of clinical pharmacy experience, including clinical reviews using recognized drug compendia
• Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to translate clinical findings into practical recommendations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary systems quickly
