Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician
Job Summary
To support a growing pharmacy care management team, the full-time Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will provide exceptional customer service, process prescription information, and assist with patient care in a remote environment, working Tuesday to Saturday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Key responsibilities
- Providing an exceptional customer service experience in a phone-based environment
- Entering a high volume of data and processing prescription information with speed and accuracy
- Performing claim adjudication and auditing duties, including prior authorizations and eligibility checks
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Certification with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Health Association (NHA)
- Current pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Prior experience in a pharmacy setting
- Must be at least 18 years of age
