Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Ohio Licensed Pharmacy Technician will manage inbound and outbound calls for order processing, assist pharmacists in filling prescriptions, and input patient data into the pharmacy information management system.

Key responsibilities

• Manage calls related to setting up orders and ensure timely medication delivery
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system
• Assist pharmacists in filling prescription orders and take verbal prescription orders as permitted

Required qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in a mail order or retail pharmacy setting preferred
• Registered in the state of Ohio or Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
• Active state or national certification in good standing
• Insurance billing experience preferred
