Ohio Licensed Psychiatric Director

Job Summary

To lead a dedicated team in providing high-quality psychiatric care, the part-time Ohio Licensed Psychiatric Director will oversee treatment protocols, conduct psychiatric evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the psychiatric line of service, ensuring evidence-based care for individuals with substance use disorders
• Oversee assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for patients with co-occurring psychiatric conditions
• Develop and implement treatment protocols and collaborate with other medical professionals to create comprehensive treatment plans

Required qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Current, unrestricted medical license to practice
• Board certification in psychiatry
• Proven experience in addiction medicine and psychiatric care, preferably in a leadership role
• In-depth knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities for mental and substance use disorders
