Job Summary
To support a growing addiction treatment practice, the part-time Ohio Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will provide medical services in collaboration with a licensed physician, focusing on patient evaluations, treatment plans, and medication management in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Document patient histories, perform physical examinations, and develop treatment plans in coordination with the supervising physician
- Monitor patient progress, medication usage, and treatment effectiveness, while providing counseling and education on health practices
- Participate in professional development activities and collaborate with ancillary healthcare providers for comprehensive patient care
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Ohio Certified Nurse Practitioner license (Kentucky preferred)
- Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health
- D.E.A. licensure as required
- 1 to 3 years of experience, preferably in substance use disorder treatment
