Owning their territory, the full-time remote Ohio Licensed Senior Underwriter will manage a portfolio of small business clients, driving profitable growth and supporting retention through informed risk decisions and strong agency relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manages an assigned portfolio, balancing underwriting strategies with profitability and retention goals
- Develops strong relationships with agencies and distribution partners to drive profitable outcomes and optimize territory performance
- Identifies and implements improvements in operational efficiency and underwriting processes to enhance agency and customer experiences
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or commensurate work experience
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) preferred
- Property And Casualty Insurance License (PCIL) preferred
