Job Summary
Owning their territory, the full-time Ohio Licensed Senior Underwriter will manage a portfolio of small business accounts, partnering with agencies to drive profitable growth, support retention, and make informed underwriting decisions in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manages an assigned portfolio consistent with underwriting strategies and profitability objectives
- Develops strong relationships with agencies to understand business objectives and drive profitable outcomes
- Collects and analyzes underwriting information to make sound risk selection and pricing decisions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or commensurate work experience
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) preferred
- Property And Casualty Insurance License (PCIL) preferred
