Ohio State Senior Research Specialist

Job Summary

To support the Bridging Divides Initiative's efforts in Ohio, the full-time Senior Research Specialist will focus on monitoring political violence, developing state-based partnerships, and producing actionable research and analysis while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop state-based research and analysis on political violence and its broader impacts
• Build and maintain partnerships with key stakeholders across various sectors for effective monitoring and support
• Produce regular Situation Reports and provide customized briefings on state-level risks and trends

Required Qualifications

• Must reside in Ohio or an adjacent state with significant state-specific knowledge and networks
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• 5-7+ years of experience in research, policy, or community engagement
• Experience in U.S. political violence research, particularly in identifying early warning indicators
• Strong writing skills with experience in policy-focused documentation
