Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Senior Research Specialist/State Lead in Ohio, this role focuses on monitoring political violence, developing state-based partnerships, and producing analytical reports to support coalition efforts, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop state-based research, monitoring, and analysis related to political violence and its broader trends
• Build partnerships with key stakeholders across various sectors for enhanced monitoring and analysis support
• Engage in state-based coordination tables, providing analysis and support to coalitions addressing political violence

Required qualifications

• Must reside in Ohio or an adjacent state with significant state-specific knowledge and networks
• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
• 5-7+ years of experience in research, policy, or community engagement
• Experience in researching the U.S. political violence landscape and identifying early warning indicators
• Excellent writing skills, particularly in crafting policy-focused memos and reports
