Job Summary
To support scalable data center growth, the full-time Oklahoma Licensed Energy Negotiator will lead energy regulatory advocacy, negotiate utility agreements, and develop market engagement strategies focused on clean and reliable power supply, with opportunities for remote work.
Key responsibilities
- Lead energy policy and regulatory framework design, negotiating innovative utility tariffs and agreements with Oklahoma utilities
- Act as a liaison between Oklahoma utilities, state regulators, and stakeholders to develop long-term energy policy and market strategies
- Identify and pursue new energy supply and regulatory initiatives to meet Google's data center power needs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Policy, Engineering, Economics, Law, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 10 years of experience leading negotiations or business development in the energy sector
- 7 years of experience in energy industry negotiations and agreement structuring
- 5 years of experience executing market, policy, or regulatory engagement strategies within the U.S. energy sector
- 3 years of experience managing cross-functional energy supply projects with external stakeholders
