Okta Architect
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the contract Okta Architect will lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable identity solutions remotely, acting as a strategic advisor to modernize clients' IAM landscapes and enhance security postures.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Okta solutions across enterprise environments
- Design end-to-end IAM architectures, including SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle management
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to delivery teams and client stakeholders
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) with expertise in enterprise IAM
- Proven experience architecting and implementing Okta solutions at enterprise scale
- Strong expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML, and modern authentication patterns
- Hands-on experience with Okta Universal Directory, Workflows, and application integrations
- Technical background in JavaScript, Node.js, Java, or similar development technologies
