Job Summary
Leading the development of Field Medical teams, the full-time remote Oncology Field Medical Director will focus on delivering high-quality scientific engagement, translating medical strategy into regional execution, and enhancing the impact of field insights on medical planning.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Field Medical Team members to ensure consistent scientific engagement in the multiple myeloma therapeutic area
- Translate medical and therapeutic area strategy into regional execution plans and standards for scientific exchange
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and cross-functional partners to align field activity with broader medical objectives and performance trends
Required qualifications
- Advanced scientific degree (PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent experience) required
- Strong understanding of the multiple myeloma disease area and the role of Field Medical within Medical Affairs
- Experience in Field Medical or Medical Affairs roles within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing field-based scientific professionals
- Proven ability to translate medical strategy into effective field execution and leverage insights for medical planning
