Oncology Medical Director

Job Summary

To advance the development of innovative oncology agents, the remote Oncology Clinical Development Medical Director will manage clinical research activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality protocol development for phase 1-3 interventional clinical trials.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of oncology clinical trials, ensuring alignment with clinical development strategies
• Engage with scientific and medical leaders to drive clinical data generation and maintain effective relationships with Key External Experts
• Oversee medical review of clinical trial data and participate in the authoring of clinical study reports and regulatory documents

Required qualifications:

• MD (or equivalent) with an advanced degree (e.g., PhD, MBA, MPH)
• Board certification or qualifications in medical oncology, radiation oncology, hematology, or internal medicine
• 3+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry or related clinical experience
• Strong knowledge of the clinical drug development process and regulatory requirements
• Documented history of academic and/or clinical research publications in a relevant field
