Oncology Project Management Director

Job Summary

Providing strategic operational leadership, the full-time Senior Director, Head of Oncology Project Management will manage a high-performing team responsible for driving global oncology programs through the development lifecycle while ensuring operational excellence and effective portfolio oversight in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor an elite oncology project management team to drive programs across various phases, ensuring rigorous operational standards
• Maintain oversight of oncology program health, track key milestones, and partner with leadership to convert clinical development plans into operational roadmaps
• Guide project managers in governance preparation and facilitate proactive risk management across all programs

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience in drug development project management within the biopharma industry
• Proven track record of managing teams that successfully delivered molecules from Phase 1 through to regulatory submission and launch
• Broad knowledge of the clinical drug development lifecycle and global regulatory frameworks
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
