Oncology Project Management Director

Job Summary

To lead cross-functional teams in the development of oncology programs, the full-time Oncology Project Management Director will manage operational strategy and execution while working remotely, ensuring alignment and accountability throughout the drug development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Project Lead to create and execute integrated development plans for oncology programs
• Foster a high-performing team culture that encourages collaboration and accountability among cross-functional team members
• Optimize timelines and resource allocations by maintaining data integrity and managing program risks effectively

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Extensive experience in biopharmaceutical project management, particularly in oncology development
• Proficiency in enterprise project management tools such as Planisware and Smartsheet
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data to senior leadership
• Project management certifications (PMP, PgMP) are preferred
