Oncology Scientific Director
Job Summary
Leading the scientific team in a fully remote or hybrid capacity, the Oncology Scientific Director will manage client strategy, oversee the creation of high-quality medical content, and collaborate with senior leadership to drive business development in the publication space.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a scientific team to deliver a comprehensive range of strategic publication services
- Lead account management to ensure the production of accurate medical/scientific content while expanding team responsibilities
- Develop and grow publication initiatives in partnership with VPs of scientific and client services
Required qualifications
- PhD, PharmD, or MD with 10+ years of relevant medical communications experience, particularly in oncology publications
- Proven track record of scientific leadership across multiple clients and therapeutic areas
- Experience with US product launches; global experience is an advantage
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff, potentially across various locations
- Strong understanding of strategic business recommendations in the medical communications field
