Job Summary
Seeking an experienced life sciences professional, the full-time remote Oncology Scientific Director will provide strategic insight and oversee the development of high-quality deliverables for Medical Affairs accounts while leading a team of medical writers and ensuring project accuracy and timeliness.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the development of technically accurate deliverables for Publications/Medical Affairs accounts
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Direct the editorial component of projects and lead a team of medical writers
Required qualifications
- PhD, PharmD, or MD required
- Significant experience in Oncology is essential
- Minimum of 5+ years' medical writing experience in an agency or pharmaceutical company setting
- CMPP preferred, but not required
