Job Summary
To support the Undergraduate Game Design and Development program, the part-time Online Adjunct Faculty will engage students in an asynchronous learning environment, providing guidance, feedback, and resources for the course "Algorithms for Games and Simulations" while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Prioritize student engagement by responding to inquiries and proactively supporting students
- Share expertise and recommend supplementary materials to enhance student understanding of course content
- Evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback to promote growth and mastery of course outcomes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Game Programming, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in game programming or a related field
- Proficiency in Pathfinding (A*), Graph Theory, Optimization, Sorting/Searching, Simulation Loops, Physics Approximation, Procedural Generation, and Performance Profiling
