Online Adjunct Medical Coding Instructor
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Online Adjunct Faculty for Introduction to Medical Billing and Coding.
Key Responsibilities
- Mentor students and facilitate online teaching and learning
- Teach courses related to medical billing and coding, including MCO 180, MCO 201B, MCO 202B, and MCO 203B
- Participate in an online asynchronous assessment as part of the hiring process
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- Coding experience with some billing experience for MCO 180; CPC certification strongly preferred
- CPC certification and coding experience required for MCO 201B, MCO 202B, and MCO 203B
- Experience in the medical field is preferred but not necessary
- Must hold and be worthy to hold a temple recommend
