Online Adjunct Piano Faculty
Job Summary
To support the mission of Training Champions for Christ, the part-time Online Adjunct Piano Faculty will teach applied piano lessons to undergraduate and graduate students, provide detailed feedback, and maintain student engagement in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Teach applied piano lessons and mentor students in their musical, intellectual, and spiritual growth
- Maintain regular contact with students regarding academic achievement, attendance, and behavior
- Report grades and attendance in accordance with university policies
Required qualifications
- Doctoral Degree (DMA in Piano Performance or DMA in Piano Performance and Pedagogy)
- Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level
- Familiarity with online learning management systems and teaching applied lessons via Zoom or Microsoft Teams
- Strong organizational skills to facilitate timely completion of assignments
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
