Job Summary
To support the Helms School of Government, the part-time Online Adjunct Professor in Fire Services will instruct students in accordance with university standards, provide timely feedback and maintain student records, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct instructional activities following university standards and approved curriculum
- Provide timely feedback on assignments and maintain student grades and attendance
- Engage in administrative tasks, including self-evaluations and curriculum development support
Required qualifications
- PhD or similar terminal degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Emergency Management, or related disciplines
- Publication record in a relevant discipline
- Demonstrated strengths in teaching and mentoring at the graduate level
- Strong organizational skills for timely completion of tasks
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite and online Learning Management Systems
