Online Adjunct Voice Instructor
Job Summary
To support the School of Music, the part-time Online Adjunct Voice Instructor will teach applied voice lessons to undergraduate and graduate students, provide detailed feedback, and maintain communication regarding academic progress and attendance in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Teach applied voice lessons and mentor students in their musical, intellectual, and spiritual growth
- Provide detailed feedback and maintain contact with students regarding academic achievement and behavior
- Maintain and report grades and attendance in accordance with university policies
Required qualifications
- Doctoral Degree (DMA in Vocal Performance or DMA in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy)
- Demonstrated strengths in teaching at the college level
- Familiarity with online learning management systems and teaching applied lessons via Zoom or Microsoft Teams
- Strong organizational skills for timely and accurate task completion
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
