Online Choral Music Instructor

Job Summary

To support student learning in choral music, the part-time Online Choral Music Instructor will teach applied lessons, A Cappella Choir, and Music Appreciation courses while fostering an inclusive and supportive online environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver virtual instruction in ensemble and applied voice courses, ensuring high-quality educational experiences
• Administer assessments and provide clear expectations through syllabi and evaluations to promote student success
• Engage with students through timely communication and address their concerns effectively in an online setting

Required qualifications

• Master's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution
• At least 18 completed graduate hours in Choral Conducting
• Ability to teach a variety of courses and utilize instructional technologies
• Commitment to inclusive instructional practices that affirm the worth and dignity of all students
