Online Computer Science Instructor

Job Summary

To support the academic needs of students, the part-time Online Computer Science Instructor will develop and teach various Computer Science courses while maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field and providing a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develops and delivers coursework that challenges students and helps them realize their full potential
• Maintains an appropriate learning climate and addresses student concerns through timely communication
• Prepares for classes and administers assessments, including comprehensive final exams, to evaluate student understanding

Required qualifications

• Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
• Alternatively, a Master's Degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in Computer Science or a related field
• Demonstrated ability to teach various courses and delivery methods as needed
• Experience with Blackboard or similar learning management systems is preferred
• Teaching experience is preferred
