Online Computer Science Instructor
Job Summary
To support the academic needs of students, the part-time Online Computer Science Instructor will develop and teach various Computer Science courses while maintaining up-to-date knowledge in the field and providing a supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities
- Develops and delivers coursework that challenges students and helps them realize their full potential
- Maintains an appropriate learning climate and addresses student concerns through timely communication
- Prepares for classes and administers assessments, including comprehensive final exams, to evaluate student understanding
Required qualifications
- Master's Degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
- Alternatively, a Master's Degree or higher with 18 graduate hours in Computer Science or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to teach various courses and delivery methods as needed
- Experience with Blackboard or similar learning management systems is preferred
- Teaching experience is preferred
