Online Course Teaching Assistant
Job Summary
Providing academic and technical support for undergraduate online courses, the part-time Online Course Teaching Assistant will facilitate communication with students, conduct review sessions, and assist in maintaining course content in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain frequent communication with students to promote engagement and course success
- Facilitate weekly online Q&A or structured review sessions and conduct review sessions prior to exams
- Monitor course materials for functionality and suggest improvements to course content organization
Required qualifications
- Successful completion of VS331 and/or VS333 with a grade of B or higher
- Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and ability to work independently after training
- Ability to manage time effectively in a flexible, primarily asynchronous work environment
- Positive demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when interacting with students
