Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated Full-Time Online English Faculty member, the position will teach foundational composition, literature, and writing courses in an asynchronous online environment, utilizing innovative teaching methods and mentoring adult learners while integrating a Christian worldview.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach general education English and composition courses delivered asynchronously through Canvas LMS
- Design, evaluate, and refine online writing and literature coursework using contemporary educational pedagogy
- Provide timely feedback on student writing, maintain an active virtual presence, and foster student retention and success
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree specifically in English is required; a terminal degree is preferred
- Demonstrated background or formal training in education and educational pedagogy
- Proven teaching experience in both traditional and online higher education environments
- Demonstrated proficiency with the Canvas Learning Management System (LMS)
- Must be a professing Christian with active participation in a local church and community
