Online History and Political Science Instructor
Job Summary
Seeking qualified candidates, the part-time Online History and Political Science Instructor will facilitate online courses covering U.S. history, political science, and related subjects while supporting the educational mission of affiliated institutions from a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor students and facilitate teaching and learning in online courses
- Participate in an online asynchronous assessment as part of the selection process
- Maintain presence in the course for five days each week, from Monday to Saturday
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in history, political science, or a closely related field
- Professional experience in related fields is desired
- Online and/or classroom teaching experience is helpful but not necessary
- Ability to hold and be worthy of a temple recommend
- Personal iOS or Android device with a corresponding phone number for WhatsApp communication may be required
