Job Summary

Teaching online courses in the Humanities Program, the part-time Humanities Adjunct Instructor will utilize various instructional technologies, assist with departmental activities, and maintain a supportive learning environment for students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses using BlackBoard and TechSmith Relay while maintaining an engaging online classroom
• Assist with recruitment, advising, and retention efforts within the department
• Provide clear course expectations and timely feedback to students, fostering a positive learning atmosphere

Required qualifications

• Master's degree in Humanities, English, Literature, or a related field, or a Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the relevant fields
• Demonstrated experience teaching in an online environment
• Computer literacy and proficiency with instructional technologies
• Documented commitment to teaching excellence and student success
