Online Tutor - SAT/ACT (Remote)
Job Summary
To support students' academic journeys, the full-time Online Tutor - SAT/ACT (Remote) will lead engaging tutoring sessions in SAT and ACT preparation, high-school mathematics through Algebra II, and executive function skills, while working a consistent weekly schedule of at least 38 hours from home.
Key responsibilities
- Lead online tutoring sessions using provided curriculum and resources
- Help students grasp challenging concepts and develop effective learning strategies
- Communicate with students and families regarding academic progress and motivate students to achieve their goals
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- At least 1 year of professional teaching or tutoring experience
- Comfortable teaching math through Algebra II
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Authorized to work in the U.S. and currently residing in the U.S
