Online Writing Instructor
Job Summary
To support online education initiatives, the part-time Online Writing Instructor will teach courses in writing, research, editing, and technical writing while mentoring students and facilitating learning in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate online courses in writing and research for diverse student populations
- Mentor students and provide guidance to enhance their learning experience
- Participate in an online asynchronous assessment as part of the hiring process
Required qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in English or a related field (e.g., ESL, Journalism, Linguistics, TESOL, Technical Writing)
- Professional experience in teaching or a closely related field
- Preferred experience in online and/or classroom teaching
- Ability to utilize WhatsApp technology for course communication
