OpenShift Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support a federal government client, the fully remote OpenShift Platform Engineer will design, implement, and optimize enterprise container platforms, focusing on Red Hat OpenShift, CI/CD automation, and database integration within on-premises environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift clusters in on-premises datacenter environments
- Migrate and modernize applications from traditional infrastructure to containerized OpenShift platforms
- Manage connectivity and integration between OpenShift environments and enterprise on-prem systems, databases, and services
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 years of experience in relevant fields
- Hands-on experience administering and supporting Red Hat OpenShift in on-premises environments
- Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networking in on-prem environments
- Experience integrating container platforms with on-prem enterprise services and databases
