OpenShift Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To enhance the enterprise container platform, the full-time remote OpenShift Platform Engineer will design, operate, secure, and improve OpenShift clusters while leading complex technical initiatives and automating operational tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, upgrade, scale, and support production OpenShift clusters across hybrid infrastructure
- Lead complex platform initiatives from technical design through implementation, validation, and operational transition
- Automate cluster provisioning and operational tasks using infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD practices
Required qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years' combined education and/or work experience in systems design, management, or architecture
- Proficiency in administering and supporting production OpenShift or Kubernetes environments
- Strong troubleshooting experience across Linux, containers, networking, and distributed application platforms
- Hands-on experience with automation using scripting, configuration management, or CI/CD practices
- Experience mentoring engineers and reviewing technical designs and documentation
