Job Summary
Driving operational excellence in a remote capacity, the full-time Operational Excellence Manager will lead the company's Quality Management System, ensure AS9100 compliance, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives across cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet AS9100 and internal requirements
- Manage the internal audit program and prepare for external AS9100 audits
- Drive LEAN and continuous improvement efforts, including waste reduction and process optimization projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, operations, or a related field or equivalent experience
- 5-10 years of experience in operational excellence or quality leadership roles
- Formal training in LEAN, Six Sigma, Quality Management, or AS9100
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvement initiatives
- Ability to conduct quality audits and reviews of project records, including export-controlled materials
