Operational Risk Management AVP

Job Summary

To support the growth of a dynamic ETF investment technology platform, the full-time salaried AVP of Operational & Technology Risk Management will manage operational risk programs, oversee risk assessments, and enhance technology and cybersecurity risk management while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage an Operational Risk Management program, identifying and assessing various risks at the enterprise level
• Develop and oversee a Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program, ensuring effective control measures are in place and tested
• Establish a comprehensive Technology and Cybersecurity Risk Management program, collaborating with the Technology & Operations department to enhance risk oversight

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience in operational risk, technology and cybersecurity risk, or internal controls within financial services
• Relevant professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CISSP, or CIA
• Working knowledge of risk frameworks and standards, including COSO, COBIT, NIST, or ISO
• Experience with automation, AI, and data analytics to improve risk management processes
