Operational Technology Red Team Operator

Job Summary

Focused on conducting adversary-driven offensive operations, the full-time Operational Technology Red Team Operator will execute penetration tests across sensitive OT environments, identify vulnerabilities, and develop custom tools while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Execute cyber-physical and converged penetration tests in OT environments, ensuring safety and process integrity
• Identify and exploit weaknesses across IT, network, application, and OT layers, including industrial protocols and Active Directory
• Produce actionable technical reports and communicate findings to stakeholders, including plant managers and executive leadership

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience in offensive security with a focus on OT/ICS/SCADA and network/application penetration testing
• Proven experience with enterprise network exploitation and Active Directory security
• Strong operating system fundamentals and proficiency in scripting/programming languages such as Python or Go
• Ability to quantify exploitability and impact while balancing cyber risk with operational safety
• Exceptional technical writing and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences
