Job Summary
To support the Defense Logistics Agency's Operational Energy Applications program, the fully remote Operational Technology Specialist will evaluate and optimize OT systems, interface with IT and OT equipment, and enhance the cybersecurity posture of control systems related to DoD fuel automation and energy operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate operational technology (OT) systems and interface with IT and OT equipment
- Troubleshoot bottlenecks, recommend elimination solutions, and propose system improvements
- Analyze and recommend enhancements to OT programs and systems to align with industry standards
Required Qualifications
- Five (5) years of relevant experience
- Must possess an IT-II security clearance or a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC)
- Experience with various OT systems, including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and network protocols
- Knowledge of cybersecurity standards and best practices for OT systems
- DoD-approved 8570 baseline certification: Category IAM Level II (e.g., CISSP or CISM)
