Operations Data Analyst
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Operations Data Analyst II to conduct analysis supporting operations within the Claims department.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and analyze reports using relational databases and tools like MS Excel and Tableau
- Audit vendor and provider contracts to ensure correct payments and assess financial impacts
- Collaborate with various departments to implement new programs and identify cost-saving opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in the health insurance or healthcare provider industry
- Two years of experience using data analysis tools such as SAS, MS SQL, or other business intelligence tools
- Experience with healthcare billing and claims data
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office products
