Operations Director

Job Summary

To support a large defense technology client, the full-time remote Operations Director will manage technical hiring, lead change management initiatives, and ensure safety compliance while fostering operational excellence across the account.

Key responsibilities

• Lead recruitment strategy and execution for specialized facilities and technical roles, building and mentoring cross-functional operations teams
• Oversee onboarding programs and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
• Manage day-to-day facilities operations, including budgeting, vendor management, and performance reporting, while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and regulations

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive facilities management experience
• Experience hiring for technical (MEP, HVAC) and specialized maintenance roles
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex operations within a large account or enterprise environment
• Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in facilities management systems and data reporting tools
• Active or eligible-for security clearance due to the nature of the client
