Job Summary
To provide essential clinical support, the full-time Ophthalmic Technician will assist clinicians with diagnostic and treatment procedures, including patient intake and various vision tests, while working onsite at the Burnet Campus.
Key responsibilities
- Perform patient intake and various diagnostic tests such as visual acuity and tonometry
- Provide technical support by setting up examining rooms and maintaining equipment and supplies
- Escort patients to examining rooms and assist with completing necessary forms
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- No directly related experience required
- Preferred: Certified Ophthalmic Assistant
