Job Summary
To support product development and sales in outpatient ophthalmology, the full-time Ophthalmology Clinical Advisor will leverage clinical expertise to guide workflows, ensure compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Represent outpatient eye care delivery models and operational practices to inform product development
- Translate ophthalmic regulatory guidelines and clinical workflows into actionable guidance for product teams
- Engage with healthcare professionals through site visits and workshops to align product offerings with clinical needs
Required qualifications:
- Clinical degree and active or prior clinical licensure/certification in an eye care profession (e.g., OD, MD/DO, COMT, COT)
- 8-10 years of direct clinical experience in outpatient ophthalmology or optometry settings
- Deep understanding of clinical workflows across ophthalmic subspecialties
- Experience using ambulatory EHR systems in clinical or operational workflows
- Preferred: Master's degree in healthcare, clinical informatics, or related field
