Oracle Applications DBA
Job Summary
To support a dynamic consulting team, the full-time Oracle Applications DBA will manage production support for Oracle EBS environments, including implementation, upgrades, and performance tuning, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and support Oracle EBS environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability
- Implement upgrades and patches, including activation of various modules within Oracle EBS
- Conduct performance tuning and provide backup and recovery solutions using RMAN
Required qualifications:
- 8-10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with production support experience, including Oracle 12c and 19c
- 7-10 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with Oracle EBS R12.1.3 and R12.2
- Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture and experience with Enterprise Manager Grid Control
- MS in Computer Science or BS/BA in Computer Science with five years of relevant work experience
- Proven experience with multiple operating systems: Linux/Unix/Solaris/Windows
