Oracle Applications DBA
Job Summary
Supporting the Managed Services Practice, the full-time Oracle Applications DBA will manage Oracle EBS environments, perform upgrades and tuning, and ensure production support in a 100% remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee implementation, upgrade, and performance tuning of large Oracle EBS environments
- Manage backup and recovery processes, including RMAN, and conduct patch assessments in an EBS environment
- Provide production support and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones
Required qualifications:
- 8-10 years as an Oracle DBA with production support experience, including Oracle 12c and 19c
- 7-10 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA with Oracle EBS R12.1.3 and R12.2
- Strong understanding of Oracle RDBMS architecture and hands-on experience with Enterprise Manager Grid Control
- MS in Computer Science or BS/BA in Computer Science with five years of relevant work experience
- Flexibility for general and rotational shifts, including occasional non-business hours
