Oracle Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the implementation and optimization of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions, the remote Oracle Cloud Senior Engineer (SME) will manage secure, high-availability environments, oversee containerization efforts, and ensure compliance with DoD security standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Architect and manage secure IaaS and PaaS environments within OCI, ensuring alignment with Cloud One's operational guidelines
- Lead containerization initiatives, collaborating with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
- Administer Oracle databases, enforcing security protocols and optimizing performance while maintaining compliance with federal regulations
Required qualifications:
- Current Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in a DoD context
- Current CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent recognized certification
