Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Database Administrator (Oracle).
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases supporting applications such as the Banner ERP system
- Monitor database performance, implement tuning procedures, and ensure database integrity, security, and availability
- Collaborate with IT teams to support Banner ERP systems and provide troubleshooting assistance as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Oracle DBA, specifically with the Banner ERP system
- Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture and performance tuning
- Experience with Oracle ASM and Data Guard is preferred
- Proficiency in PL/SQL programming and database automation
- Experience administering Java applications, including Tomcat web servers
