Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary
Supporting the databases behind business systems, the full-time remote Mid-Level Oracle Database Administrator will perform day-to-day database administration, troubleshooting, and configuration under the guidance of the Senior Oracle DBA while managing capacity planning and system health monitoring.
Key responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day Oracle database administration, troubleshooting, and configuration under guidance
- Support proactive capacity planning and system health monitoring for Oracle database environments
- Manage and resolve assigned RFCs and ServiceNow tickets in accordance with operational SLAs
Required qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Administrator in enterprise production environments
- Expertise in Oracle, Oracle Grid, Oracle RMAN, and PL/SQL
- Working familiarity with SQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other database systems
- Experience with ITSM/ticketing platforms like ServiceNow for request lifecycle management
- Familiarity with database monitoring and capacity planning tools such as Idera or SolarWinds
