Job Summary
To provide hands-on administration and operational support for enterprise Oracle database environments, the remote contract Oracle Database Administrator will manage database availability, performance, security, and backup/recovery while collaborating with senior DBAs and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support Oracle databases in production enterprise environments
- Execute database backup, recovery, and restoration activities
- Monitor database availability, capacity, performance, and system health
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of database administration experience
- Hands-on Oracle database administration experience
- Experience with Oracle RMAN, PL/SQL, and database patching
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively on technical teams
