Oracle Database Administrator
Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Mid-Level+ Oracle Database Administrator will manage support, development, and maintenance services for SQL and Oracle database environments, including troubleshooting and configuration tasks.
Key responsibilities:
- Execute daily troubleshooting, system setup, and configuration for SQL Server and SQL Clusters
- Manage request lifecycles from submission to closeout within ServiceNow
- Perform proactive capacity planning and system health monitoring using Idera and SolarWinds
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience in database administration
- Experience with SQL, Oracle, MS Access, and application-level integrations
- Ability to respond to and execute assigned Requests for Changes (RFCs) for ongoing maintenance
- Proficiency in troubleshooting database issues and resolving ServiceNow tickets according to operational SLAs
- Experience in assisting users with building and configuring SQL and Oracle databases
