Job Summary
Supporting the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Enterprise Database Infrastructure, the fully remote Infrastructure Application and Database SME (Oracle) will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle enterprise databases, while mentoring DBAs and engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Lead design, implementation, security, performance optimization, patching, and migration of Oracle enterprise databases
- Oversee Oracle high availability, replication, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and OEM 13c monitoring
- Mentor database administrators and engineers in best practices and technical leadership
Required qualifications
- Ten years of database administration and infrastructure management focused on Oracle
- Experience supporting DoD or Federal enterprise Oracle database environments
- Hands-on experience with Oracle administration, OEM 13c, replication, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification
- One of the following certifications: Oracle OCA/OCP or Oracle WebLogic Server 12c or higher
