Job Summary
Providing expert support for Oracle database environments, the full-time Oracle Database Specialist will diagnose complex issues, improve performance, and advise on database design while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical expert for Oracle database design, performance, and security
- Diagnose and resolve complex database and performance issues
- Review database designs and SQL/PL/SQL code for quality and efficiency
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of Oracle database experience in administration and development
- Expert knowledge of Oracle architecture, SQL, and PL/SQL
- Experience with performance tuning tools such as AWR, ASH, and SQL Tuning Advisor
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, or similar high availability tools
